JesiusCharlie and Copenhagen: The other side to freedom

To all those hankering about freedom of speech, killing innocent people is inexcusable, but making fun of someone's chosen path is unacceptable beyond certain reasonable limits.
Freedom comes with responsibiity, and a lot of people in today's world who have never experienced a lack of this freedom take it for granted and even misuse it!
These people seem to be taking the saying "the pen is mightier than the sword" a tad too seriously. The sword wielders won't change. They will only get more provoked and get more excuses to justify their actions. Besides, enlightenment of their wrongdoing to the world is achievable by simpler means too. A pen, if held incorrectly, might end up causing more harm than a sword would. It is therefore, the person holding the weapon not the weapon itself, which is responsible for causing the damage.
There is a reason why a country that attained its freedom using non violent means still has its civilization and sanity intact - and that reason is tolerance by the knowledgable. It is foolish to expect it from the psychopths anyway. Only, in this case, it is hard to distinguish whose screws are more loose.
