Laughter is the best medicine.

Laughter is a physical reaction in humans and some species of primate, consisting typically of rhythmical, often audible contractions of the diaphragm and other parts of the respiratory system. It is a response to certain external or internal stimuli. Laughter can arise from such activities as being tickled,[1] or from humorous stories or thoughts.[2] Most commonly, it is considered a visual expression of a number of positive emotional states, such as joy, mirth, happinessrelief, etc. On some occasions, however, it may be caused by contrary emotional states such as embarrassment, apology, or confusion such as nervous laughter or courtesy laugh. Factors such as age, gender, education, language, and culture are factors[3] as to whether a person will experience laughter in a given situation.

A lesson learnt over and over again, and more so in the last four years. There was a time when people told me to stop giggling like an idiot and many times I even gave up. Then one fine day I realized the Truth with a capital T and made them give up. Got back to mindless laughter again. Turns out it was the only thing one needed to return to sanity.

There is a reason why a complete branch of science is dedicated to laughing; it's called Gelotology.

Keep laughing, because laughter does not cost anything, but your happiness is priceless.

If you laugh like a nutjob and people think you're insane, let them think that way. Frankly, no one cares. They've lost their innocence and the art of being truly happy and living with carefree abandon and so they want you to turn into sad lives like them.

Laughter is as essential as breathing. Without laughter, the world would be a drab, dull place to live in.

Don't worry about how you look while laughing. Laugh your most genuine laugh. Laugh your heart, soul, and kidneys and intestines out.

When you laugh, laugh like no one is watching. Laugh like there is no tomorrow.

Laugh till your sides and jaws hurt. Laugh till there are tears in your eyes.

Learn to laugh at yourself rather than at others. Laugh at your weaknesses, idiosyncrasies, and idiocies, and laugh at your strengths.

Laugh when you've gone ballistic and laugh even when you've embarrased yourself.

Be ballsy enough to laugh in the middle of a crazy day at work. Find something funny to laugh about, and find some smile-worthy and beautiful in everything and everyone.

Surround yourself with those who can literally laugh out loud at the top of their voices and bring the house down with it. Pull in those who don't laugh and tickle them till they cave in.

Ask to be tickled silly.

Laugh uncontrollably in the middle of the road on a bus stop, so much so that you are forced to sit down and let the NOS in your system wear out. (Oh I love this one.)

Suffer from laugh attack syndrome. (Yes, there is such a thing!)

Watch Cartoon Network. Watch Tom and Jerry, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and all the Looney Tunes all over again, and almost die laughing again.

Dedicated to the Nitrous Oxides of my life - yes, you know who you are. Keep ROFLing!
